PRESENTERS: Dr. Carmen Monico, PhD, MSW, MS, Associate Professor in the Joint Graduate Social Work Programs of the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCAT) and University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) and Dr. Karen Jackson
This workshop will examine the role of AI in healthcare, understand the ethical implications of its use in service delivery and discuss how to improve outcomes on health and society. Participants will learn about research findings, including best practices and the importance of inclusive approaches to the development of AI healthcare frameworks and describe key AI frameworks for health and their relevance to equity and
social justice.
