This presentation will introduce integrative approaches combining narrative and systemic family interventions with forensic reporting and advocacy. The panel will consist of a forensic social worker, a clinical social worker and a family law attorney they will explore how private practitioners can integrate culturally responsive and trauma- informed approaches that promote justice, empowerment and mental well-being. The presenters will facilitate reflection and audience dialogue rather than read prepared text to encourage experiential learning and knowledge exchange. The attendees will engage in small groups to analyze ethical dilemmas and power dynamics affecting Latinx individuals and families in legal and mental health systems.
