This workshop explores trauma-informed, culturally responsive approaches to supporting Latinx immigrant and refugee families navigating mental health and social service systems. It highlights the intersection between trauma, migration, and access to care, offering practical strategies for social workers and behavioral health professionals to promote healing, resiliency, and empowerment among vulnerable populations. Participants will learn about how migration and systemic barriers affect mental health outcomes and how to apply interdisciplinary collaboration techniques that promote healing and equity.
