This bilingual workshop invites clinicians to examine bodegas in NY/NJ’s Caribbean diaspora as culturally focused third places linked to Santería and indigenous everyday mental health care—without appropriating sacred practice. Participants will be engaged in photovoice-based activity to stimulate their thinking about the role of Bodegas in their lives and the lives of their clients.
